Project Communique: Feb. 27, 2018

Hello everyone,

You are receiving this email as you have been identified as the Divisional Lead for the Toolbox Renewal Project.

Hope you are doing well.

Here are a few project updates:

Communication

We continue to attend the departmental meetings (10 in the last two weeks) to inform the attendees of q.utoronto.ca, the sandbox available to instructors and the importance of instructors archiving their  course content.

We are holding an early adoption day on March 2nd inviting the winter term early adopters to share their experience teaching on Quercus and feedback with us.

Our website has been updated to include more essential information for the instructors.

Technical Updates

The technical team has finalized the course and account roles permission and is waiting for steering committee approval which will be shared with you in the next communication email.

Youtube is now live on Quercus and the team is progressing well with the top three integration priorities to be available for summer availaility: Turnitin, Blue, Peerscholar.

Training

With Feb coming to an end our first phase of “Quercus Awareness” campaign is concluding and we have communicated with every division to hold information sessions for their end users. By the end of the week we have completed 21 one hour tri-campus divisional information sessions.

We will be working with our divisional key Technical and Training contacts to hold divisional end user Quercus training locally at each division starting April.

Please visit our website for more information and feel free to reach out to me (or email us) for more information or to invite us attend any town hall, departmental, divisional meeting you see necessary beyond what we are doing!

Thank you
