Project Communique: May 28, 2018

Hello everyone,
Hope you are enjoying the nice weather!
Please see the recent Toolbox renewal project updates:

Communication

During the month of May we had a few successful Quercus related events:

• Two Quercus presentations at TechKnowFile Conference with a total of more than 80 attendees for both sessions
• Tri-campus Quercus Day (UTM: May 7th, UTSC: May 8th, St. George: May 11th) with over 300 participants across three campuses with over 20 volunteers presenting and helping participants with content migration during the sessions! Picture attached.

To date we have attended 95 Quercus related divisional meetings (Including the initial meetings with the leads, divisional info sessions and departmental meetings)

 Technical

All fall course shells have become available on Quercus enabling faculty and staff to migrate their content for fall teaching.

Of the 3900 summer shells that became available at the beginning of April, 263 have been activated.

In the last month the system storage has increased 30 times (from 3.3 gigs to 92.8 gigs) indicating content migration activity by end users.

In addition to the the planned third party integrations for summer, we have now completed integration of YouTube, iclicker, WileyPlus and Collaborate Ultra. Please visit our Integration Updates sites for regular updates: https://toolboxrenewal.utoronto.ca/integration-updates/

Training

To date we have held over 100 Quercus training sessions across the three campuses. This includes the central and divisional Quercus training sessions!

Furthermore, we have held 30 content migrations clinics and we continue to work with each divisional Technical and Training lead to hold Content Migration sessions where we provide central support and migration assistants.

Please visit our website for more information and feel free to reach out to me (or email us at lme.migration@utoronto.ca) for more information or to invite us attend any town hall, departmental, divisional meeting you see necessary beyond what we are doing!

Thank you
